Grokbot's default picture of you is assembled from what you post. Here's how to hand it the real one instead — and keep that picture when you move to a different assistant.

Write a few hundred words about your work, the people in your life, your decisions and how you want to be talked to, and paste it at the start of a chat. Free, instant, and immediately better than nothing. The cost: you repeat it every session, and it goes stale the moment anything changes.
Settings → Data controls → Memory. Worth doing. But it only holds facts you happened to state inside Grok, it can't see your journals or documents, and none of it leaves xAI.
Build the record once, in a vault you own: your chats from other assistants, your notes, your journals, your documents. Then connect it to Grokbot as a custom connector, and Grok reads it before it answers — so "what should I do about this?" gets answered by something that knows what you tried last year.
Because the vault sits outside any provider, the same memory feeds ChatGPT, Claude and whatever launches next quarter. Change models, lose an account, walk away from a platform — the understanding stays with you.
That's what Konshus is. See plans or read why it exists.
Konshus is one way to solve this — a persistent memory vault and portable persona that follows you across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and whatever ships next.
